J Street downloadable Seattle Mariners calendar for Outlook
April 27, 2010
Would you like to see all the Seattle Mariners baseball games on your Outlook calendar? The downloadable
calendar offered by the official MLB www.SeattleMariners.com
site is deficient in several ways, including the lack of game times in the Pacific time zone! To remedy this and other problems, Armen took the file
from MLB and fixed it up actually to be usable. This free CSV file will import cleanly into Outlook, making
each game appear on your calendar as free time with no reminder, so it won’t interfere with your busy schedule.
Download the calendar and save it in a folder or your desktop.
To install it:
- From Outlook Calendar, select File, Import and Export
- Select Import from another program or file
- Select Comma Separated Values (Windows)
- Browse to the CSV file you downloaded
- Check your field mapping if you like (they should already be matched)
- Click Finish
We’re giving this away for free, so we don’t offer support for installing or using this information.
Some of the game times are TBD – look for the ones that show 12:33am and change them
when the times are announced.
Enjoy!
