J Street Technology in
Bellevue is looking for a Software Developer / Tier II
Support Rep to help build and support its CartGenie™ product
line.
In this dual role, the Software Developer / Tier II
Support Rep will work primarily as part of the CartGenie
Product Development Team creating new features and enhancing
existing functionality. In addition, this individual will
work as part of the CartGenie Support Team to help resolve Tier
II customer support issues.
Duties:

Add new features
and enhancements to the CartGenie storefront and various
add-on modules.

Participate in the
rewrite of the CartGenie storefront from ASP Classic to ASP.NET using VB.NET.

Utilize sketches
and business logic requirements to create the presentation
layer, middle tier, and database objects.

Work with the
technical support team to troubleshoot and resolve customer
issues that have been escalated from Tier I to Tier II.

Provide general
backup and assistance for all CartGenie support.

Assist in the
development and maintenance of internal applications.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years previous
experience as a software developer.

Demonstrated
experience creating Web-based applications in ASP.NET using
VB.NET and Javascript.

Demonstrated
experience creating tables, stored procedures, functions,
views and triggers in SQL Server.

Basic knowledge
of object oriented programming a plus.

Experience
working with Web Services, XML, AJAX, and ASP Classic is a
plus.

Prior experience
working with Microsoft Access/VBA is a plus.

Prior experience
building e-commerce applications is a plus.

Strong verbal and
written
communication skills.

Ability to juggle
multiple tasks efficiently in a fast paced team environment.
