We're always looking for creative projects that benefit our local community, and our project with the Bellevue Botanical Garden stands out. Administrators reached out with a bright idea: a website that would let users explore and learn about the Garden from the comfort of home.
We cherish making information more accessible, and the site grew the Garden's user base as everyone from casual enthusiasts to studied botanists — and even local schools and colleges — immersed themselves in its beautiful plant life. It's still in use today, and we like to say we helped the Garden flourish.
The Need
Bellevue Botanical Garden wanted a dynamic website so anyone, from botanists to casual enthusiasts, could take a virtual tour of the garden and search for plants by a variety of characteristics.
