It's hard to think of many industries more complex, but we're always up to the challenge — diving deep into complicated processes to produce state-of-the-art software. We've helped local manufacturers build databases to organize wholesale product inventory, and designed systems that help global manufacturers track vital safety processes.
LanXess makes chemical products in large production facilities and asked J Street to document thousands of 'interlocks' between equipment that had previously been tracked only in Excel. We built a modern web application that documented these interlocks and improved the company's vital safety processes.
The Need
LanXess needed a single tool to replace the unwieldy set of Excel spreadsheets tracking thousands of equipment interlocks, rules that prevent operation of one device when another condition exists, across their chemical production facilities.

J Street built a modern web application that stores and documents data on thousands of chemical engineering devices and the interlocks that govern them.
