Providence Health & Services, a Washington-based non-profit hospital network, had several outdated Access applications that imported, organized, and processed daily bank transactions.
They were cumbersome, required lots of manual entry, and each had different processing rules, so errors and discrepancies were frequent and costly — and the original developers had all moved on. J Street architected a brand-new web application that consolidated their transaction processes and automated their efficiency.
The Need
Providence Health & Services, a large hospital network, needed to overhaul an old financial transaction import and research system that had become unviable, full of workarounds and complexity.
