Q: Where is the conference?

A: Building 92 on Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA. We’ll be using the Jolt conference room.

 

Q: How to get there? Can I take a bus?

A: If you drive, you can park at Building 92. There are nearby bus stops for the Rapid Ride B Line and 269, 244, 249 and 221.

 

Q: Who to check in with?

A: Check in at the front desk before 9am. You’ll be directed to the Jolt conference room.

 

Q: Where to park?

A: There is an outdoor parking lot in front of Building 92.

 

Q: What to eat?

A: Lunch will be provided mid-day. Hot and cold beverages will be available throughout the day.

 

Q: Will my dietary needs be met?

A: We’ll have vegetarian options, but if you have specific restrictions it would be best for you to bring some of your own food just in case.

 

Q: Will the event be webcast or recorded?

A: Sorry, Access Day will not be webcast or recorded, for a couple of reasons. Mixed physical/electronic events have distractions and technical difficulties that impact both in-person and remote attendees. Also, there’s a fee for attending, and we don’t want to dilute in-person attendee value, nor do we want to charge a fee for remote attendees or access to recordings. The best way to experience Access Day is to be there!

 

Q: Can I go outside the building and reenter during the conference?

A: As long as you keep your name badge on you should be able to re-enter the building without a problem.

 

Q: Is there a place where I can go to make a phone call or do other work during the conference?

A: You will have access only to the Access Day conference room and the public areas within the building. MS employee areas and vacant conference rooms on our floor are off limits.

 

Q: Is there Internet connectivity available at Access Day?

A: Yes, Microsoft has public WiFi access.

 

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Registration cancellations must be notified in writing by email to AccessDay@JStreetTech.com.

Cancellations received 15 days prior to the conference/event will receive a refund of registration fees less an administration charge of 10% of the Conference fee. Cancellations made after, as well as 'no shows', are liable for the full registration fee. Participants must make sure they receive an acknowledgement of their cancellation from J STREET TECHNOLOGY. Only this will confirm that their request has been received and processed.

 

Q: Do I need to bring my PC for purposes of the conference?

A: You are welcome to bring your own device to the conference for your own purposes, but it isn’t required for the conference itself. There will be free WiFi available.
