The need
Offshore Systems (OSI) ran their operations across a time-tracking website and two separate Access applications for administration and reporting. They needed one redesigned website and database that centralized all three, accessible to multiple users across offices, including harbor locations with slow connectivity.
The solution
J Street built a robust, highly searchable system from the ground up, letting multiple users access, add, and edit data simultaneously from different locations, even over slow internet connections.
How it turned out
Employee work entry detail (time cards and services) can be easily searched and viewed.
Time card detail can be edited and viewed.
Work Entry invoicing module allows authorized users to see all time cards and services associated with a project.
Pots Inventory (e.g. crab pots that are warehoused onshore) displays data for viewing and editing.
Customer Search displays basic information with the option of drilling down to see detail.
Employee Search displays basic information with the option of drilling down to see detail.
Customer detail allows a more in-depth view of information.
Employee detail allows a more in-depth view of information.
Reports includes a Time Card Labor Cost Report in PDF format.
Administration includes the ability to create Roles to control granular permissions for users.
