Offshore Systems, Inc. came to us needing to completely revamp their employee administrative systems — with staff in locations all over the world and at sea, modernizing these systems was essential for business continuity.
We designed a new web-based system that consolidated multiple administrative technologies and could be accessed anywhere, anytime, even at sea, and worked well over the slower internet connections their employees in Alaska relied on.
The Need
Offshore Systems (OSI) ran their operations across a time-tracking website and two separate Access applications for administration and reporting. They needed one redesigned website and database that centralized all three, accessible to multiple users across offices, including harbor locations with slow connectivity.
The Solution
J Street built a robust, highly searchable system from the ground up, letting multiple users access, add, and edit data simultaneously from different locations, even over slow internet connections.
